My bestie got married this past weekend and I could not be more excited!!
Rebecca and I met 15 years ago, about 6 weeks after Elijah was born. Our first encounter, however, I think I scared her a little HA! Pretty sure my new mom exhaustion mixed with the fact my husband had a large group of friends in our new house, I didn’t shine my best for her! Becca and her sweet heart though, didn’t let that phase her too much because she took the chance and got to know me and I couldn’t be more grateful for such an amazing friend! Years have gone by since she moved away, but she is that friend for me it does not matter how much time goes by, we always pick right up where we left off! I have met very few people in my life that I just have that kind of a connection with!!
Rebecca and Almon are just the sweetest couple! They both came into this relationship with kids around the same ages and it is so amazing to see how this family has blended so perfectly together!
Almon and Rebecca decided to load up the kids and make the long flight back to her family’s river home in Mobile, AL. Perfectly situated on Fowl River near Bellingrath Gardens, this piece of paradise provided the perfect setting for them to join together as one in marriage!
We began the festivities of the day with a first look. Being my first time to meet Almon, I had to apologize for our first encounter of me just showing up telling him where to stand and what we were doing LOL! (Sorry not sorry!) The first look with these two was precious! I stood back and let the moment happen naturally, and I could not have asked for a better reaction to Almon seeing his beautiful bride!!
The couple wrote their own vows to each other and shared them before the family in a small ceremony under the large oak trees that decorate this beautiful property. The entire family has so much love and joy to share, I am so happy Rebecca asked me to capture this monumental moment for them!!
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Shoff!!!! I love ya’ll!!!
